Illustration Friday: Twist

Sweet Peas

Here's an image I just finished and thought it worked well for Illustration Friday's word this week, twist. The sweet pea vine is curving and twisting..."to turn, coil, or bend into a spiral shape."

Sweet Peas Crying

"to distort (the features) by tensing or contracting the facial muscles; contort."

This is a very sweet, whimsical illustration. "Sweet pea" is a term of affection I've used for dogs, cats, one bird, nieces, nephews, and now my son - and so, I think of everyone I love when I look at this. You made me smile :).
